Testimonials

"Rosie has provided essential support to our students through a very challenging time.  Her experience, calm manner and focus has enabled her to provide excellent and knowledgeable careers advice which she has adapted to take place remotely during schools closure due to Coronavirus.  I have really valued her input at a more strategic level to shape our careers provision across school, which comes from her years of experience working in variety of different settings" Martin Ainscough, Director of Creative Learning, Fred Longworth High School, Tyldesley, Manchester. July 2020

"Rosie has made a big impact to our careers programme at Birchwood High School since joining us in 2016. All students from years 7-13 have benefitted from regular careers related activities delivered through our Learning for Life programme and across the curriculum with teachers showing how their subject relates to the world of work. She has brought careers to life by inviting employers into school to speak with students and in 2018 she organised our first ever Careers Fair which was a great success. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about careers and during our Ofsted inspection in 2018, careers was praised as a strength of the school. I would thoroughly recommend Rosie to any school leader looking to develop their careers provision". Moira Bryan, Head Teacher, Birchwood Community High School, Warrington. June 2019

"At Merchant Taylors' Girls' School, we view expert careers guidance as crucial to our students as they prepare for life after secondary education. Rosie joined us to cover for a maternity absence. To say that it was an inspired coupling is to underplay how well Rosie fitted in immediately. Her superb organisational skills and professional approach proved invaluable when she organised our School Careers Fair, which was attended by a wide range of local company and university representatives. She was highly regarded by both staff and pupils alike. It is a testament to Rosie that were we in the position of being able to continue to employ her, we would have attempted to lure her away from her role as an independent advisor!" Jane Tyndall First Deputy Merchant Taylors’ Girls’ School, Crosby, Liverpool

"Rosie has become a very significant part of our IAG programme at Culcheth High School.  She has worked as directed but also shown good organisation, reliability, flexibility and proactivity. At all times she has offered independent and impartial CIAG, thus complying with the statutory requirements of the Education Act 2011 in relation to CIAG. Students have welcomed her clear advice and guidance (including strong local knowledge of the world of work) and, as a school, we feel that our IAG input is as strong now as ever before. Rosie has already been asked by the Headteacher to continue her work with us for 2013-14." David Roberts, Assistant Headteacher, Culcheth High School, Warrington.

"It has been a pleasure to work alongside Rosie in order to deliver our schools information and guidance requirements. She has been a very important asset to us in delivering individually targeted careers guidance to our pupils and has also supported careers events and assemblies. Rosie has a wealth of experience and is very well connected in the local area. She is a hard working individual who shows great professionalism in all that she does." Mark Getty, Careers Coordinator, St Gregory's Catholic High School, Warrington.

"Rosie has worked with us giving 1:1 guidance sessions to year 10s. She has presented careers material as part of our cross curricular week on access to websites such as the National Careers Service and Fast Tomato. She has also advised on writing CVs, cover letters and where to find employment. We have always found Rosie to be very personable, willing to help, flexible and very reliable. She is well organised and planned all sessions to "fit" the need of students." Bridget Neacy, Head of Upper School, Bridgewater High School, Warrington.

"I have worked alongside Rosie for many years and see her as a dedicated professional who always offers a high quality service to her clients. She has a wide range of experience demonstrating her flexibility in meeting the needs of school pupils, college students and adults seeking a career change." Professional Adviser, Greater Merseyside Connexions.

"Rosie helped me when I got my A level results as I didn't want to go to university. She helped me to explore all my options and to think about what I really wanted to do with my life. She helped me apply for apprenticeships and gave me interview tips. I got the first job I applied for and I'm now doing a degree apprenticehsip in IT with a national company earning £300 per week."  Steven, age 18

"Rosie has a wealth of knowledge about local courses. She is very friendly and approachable and after our second meeting I felt confident to apply for the Access to Nursing course at my local college. I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for a career change." Gill, age 45
